List of Costs
My rates are based on the scope, the difficulty and the urgency of the project.
As a rule, I charge for translations by "standard line" (= 55 keystrokes, based on the English or German version of the text), as by the provisions of Section 11 of the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act (Justizvergütungs- und -entschädigungsgesetz - JVEG). Flat rates apply for the translation of certain documents (see table below).
Interpreting services are charged by the hour.
