Certified Translations

I am happy to provide you with certified translations of official documents, such as birth, marriage, and divorce certificates, certificates of no impediment to marriage, Hukou, residence certificates, school and university diplomas, certificates of good conduct, employment references, as well as ID cards, passports, and driver's licenses.

I will translate your documents precisely and in compliance with the formal legal requirements of the respective authorities in Germany and China.

Certification and Recognition

As a translator for the Chinese language generally authorized by the President of the Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main, I am entitled to certify the accuracy and completeness of document translations.

Each translation is provided with my official stamp, my signature, and the legally required attestation of correctness.

Translations certified by me are recognized by all authorities, registry offices, universities, and courts throughout Germany and the EU.

My translations from German and English into Chinese are also recognized by the relevant authorities in China.

Submission of Documents

You can send me your documents by email or post. It is generally not necessary to present the original document – a scanned copy or a high-quality photo is sufficient. Please ensure the image quality is high, as the printout of your scan will be attached to the finished translation document.

Processing Time and Shipping

The processing time is usually two to five working days. You can pick up the finished certified translation in Frankfurt. Upon request, I can also send the document to your address by mail or registered mail.

In case of urgent orders, I am happy to offer express processing by prior arrangement.

Costs

I calculate my fees according to the scope, difficulty and urgency of the assignment.

I generally calculate the remuneration for translations according to standard lines (55 characters, measured according to the German or English language version) in accordance with the provisions of the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act (JVEG). Flat-rate prices apply to certain certified translations (see table).

I charge for interpreting services based on the time required and the level of difficulty.
